Nepal Rastra Bank’s license no. “D” is licensed to do business according to 12/063/64. The main objective of this financial institution is to raise the social and economic living standards of poor people in rural areas. Grameen Bank Financial of BangladeshAccording to the basic concept of the system, this financial institution is conducting microfinance services and community development programs for members of rural women groups in Nepal. Established as the first microfinance financial institution in the eastern region in the private sector and having its central office in Biratnagar, this financial institution serves Nepal’s Provinces No. 1, 2, Bagmati Province,It has extended its services to 31 districts of Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province and Sudurpaschim Province.
